Poland: Am – SALT mines at Wieliczka – a short distance from Krakov ,then to Oswiecim and Auschwitz
Left Auschwitz at 4 pm to travel to Vienna – Austria via Ostrava and Brno in Czech Republic

Just crossed border into Austria (Poland , Czech ,Austria) On our way to our Airb&b accommodation in Vienna

Quick bite to eat by the road side and now off to Vienna – 4 hr drive

Humbling – unbelievable what suffering fellow humans had to endure here

Have just seen some remarkable chambers chiselled out in rock salt at the Salt Mine at Wieliczka, which is definitely worth a visit for anyone.
All the photos were taken nearly 90m underground!

Our sleeping problems for this evening – the worst bit is I am sharing with Kirit and have built a mountain between us so his legs and arms don’t come onto my side!!!
